Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the traditional confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
